Kohli fit to join upcoming RCB match

In a major boost to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), star player and captain Virat Kohli has regained full fitness, the BCCI stated in a media release on Thursday.Kohli will be available for RCB’s next match against Mumbai Indians, to be held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Friday.

The accomplished batsman injured his right shoulder during India’s third Test against Australia last month. He missed the fourth Test, and has not featured in RCB’s three IPL matches so far.

The franchise’s batting line-up received a first shot in the arm in its previous match, when South African A.B. de Villiers made his comeback from a back injury.

The RCB has lost two matches and won one fixture.
