Lava to establish its mobile phone manufacturing unit at Tirupati

Mobile phone manufacturing company ‘Lava’ is establishing its plant in Tirupati in Chittoor district.

The plant will be established on a 20 acre land at an estimated cost of Rs.500 crore according to Lava International Limited senior Vice President L.Prakash. The company will become operational by next year.

This is the first plant to be established in South India. Another plant is expected to come up on Yamuna Express Way at a cost of Rs.2,615 crore, he said.
