Micromax launches 4G feature phone with BSNL at Rs 2,200
Domestic smartphone maker Micromax has launched its 4G enabled feature phone in association with state run telecom operator BSNL. Dubbed Bharat 1, the device will go on sale starting October 20 and is priced at Rs 2,200. With the collaboration of Micromax and BSNL, users will be able to enjoy unlimited calls and data at Rs 97 per month.
Designed mainly for customers in rural India, the phone offers support for 22 Indian languages. Bharat 1 comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor. The feature phone is backed by a 2000mAh battery, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
The 4G VoLTE enabled phone also comes with a 2MP rear and VGA selfie camera and dual SIM functionality. The phone comes pre-loaded with Micromax entertainment apps.
