Oppo A57 with 13MP selfie camera, 3GB RAM launched in China
Oppo has launched a new smartphone in China. Dubbed A57, the smartphone bears a price tag of 1,599 Yuan and will be available in the country from December 12. That said, there’s no word about the handset’s availability in other countries yet.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo A57 features a 5.2-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixel resolution. The display has 2.5D curved glass design. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There’s also 32GB of internal storage, expandable further via microSD cards.
On the optics front, the Oppo A57 has a 16MP rear camera with 1.12um pixel size, Phase Detection Autofocus and LED flash. A 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture is also included in the mix.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Oppo’s own Color OS 3.0, the A57 measures 149.1mmx72.9mmx7.65mm and weighs 147g. Having a metallic body, the smartphone comes in Rose Gold and Gold colour variants and also has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the Home button.
