Petrol, diesel and LPG to cost more

Petrol price was hiked by  Rs. 1.29 a litre and the diesel rate by 97 paise a litre on Sunday.

Also, aviation turbine fuel (ATF) price was hiked by a steep 8.6 per cent and subsidised LPG rate raised by Rs. 2 per cylinder.

“The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and Rupee-dollar exchange rate warrant increase in selling price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers,” IOC said in a statement.
