Prannoy & Srikanth entered the quarter-finals of Indonesia Open

India’s HS Prannoy has entered the quarter-finals of the Indonesia Super Series Premier by beating the world no 3 Lee Chong Wei in straight games to smash the Malaysian shuttler’s bid for a record seventh Indonesian Open title.

In other good news, Kidambi Srikanth beat world No 9 Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark 21-15, 20-22, 21-6 to enter the quarters as well. The 14th-ranked Srikanth had famously beaten Jorgenson 21-19, 21-19 to reach the quarter-finals of last year’s Rio Olympics.
