Russia offers tech help to Amaravati
AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu was assured world class technology in development of Amaravati by Moscow corporation head of science and industrial policy Oleg Bocharov on Tuesday.
On his fourth day of Russia tour, Naidu interacted with governor of Chelyabinsk Boris and proposed cooperation between AP and Chelyabinsk province. The two states decided to form a five-member working group each towards this.
“Before your visit to Vijayawada in March 2017, several projects with respect to Amaravati and rest of Andhra Pradesh should be finalised,” he suggested.
Later, Naidu met the vice-president of Gazprombank Yantsenter and explained to him the efforts by AP to set up heavy industries in the state. The bank came forward to extend financial assistance for investments in Amaravati.
Naidu also met Sverdlovsk’s governor Evgeny Kuivashev, who said that they are ready to develop ventures in AP under public and private partnership.
When Naidu briefed him about the opportunities in AP, the governor said that a team would visit AP by the end of this year to study the e-governance system.
