Shikhar Dhawan thanks fans for prayers as Ayesha’s surgery is successful

India opener Shikhar Dhawan has not been a part of India’s first three one-day internationals against Australia due to personal reasons.

Two days ago, Dhawan posted this picture with her and wrote that she needs surgery in a few days time. Wishes poured in for her speedy recovery. On Saturday, he revealed that the surgery had been successful and his wife is recovering.

He tweeted: “By the grace of god, my wife’s surgery was successful. She is recovering well. Thank u all for d prayers & blessings. #Waheguruji #Jaimatadi.”
