SRK’s car attacked in Ahmedabad
The controversy over Shah Rukh Khan’s statements on intolerance refuses to die down, although it has been more than three months since the actor allegedly made the comments in an interview.
Recently, there were protests against the actor by the members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Gujarat, where he is filming his upcoming flick, ‘Raees.’ The protests took place outside the District Magistrate’s office. Slogans were also voiced against the actor.
And now, just days after, there are reports of SRK’s car being attacked at his shooting venue in Ahmedabad. The news was shared on Twitter by the official handle of ANI news agency. It also mentioned that the superstar wasn’t in his car when the incident took place and there are no reports of any injuries to anyone.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, ‘Raees’ will be released on Eid this year. The films also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress, Mahira Khan.
Apart from SRK, Aamir Khan, too, is still receiving a backlash for expressing wife Kiran Rao’s fear of staying in India over growing ‘intolerance.’
