Sunidhi Chauhan is expecting her first child

Sunidhi is expecting her first child with husband Hitesh Sonik, and is five months pregnant.

Sunidhi, who also turns 34 today, has been busy wrapping up her professional commitments before she delivers the baby.

A source was quoted as telling Indian Express, “Yes, Sunidhi is five months pregnant. She hasn’t announced it to many except her family and close friends. In fact, she has minimised her outings as to avoid any paparazzi spotting her with her baby bump. She is very excited and like any soon-to-be mommy, is busy preparing for the baby’s arrival and decorating her house.”

Confirming the news, Sunidhi’s dad Dushyant Chauhan told the website that she is on her way to start a family. He also added that he is too excited and happy with the news.

He said, “It’s a new chapter in Sunidhi’s life and we all are very happy and equally excited. Sunidhi has always been a hardworking child and has made us all proud with her work. But now that we will soon be grandparents, I just can’t contain my happiness. She is finishing her prior commitments but as a family we have taken a decision to not let her do outstation shows as her health is of utmost priority to us.”

Sunidhi tied the knot with music composer Hitesh Sonik in 2012.
