Thilini Amarasooriya wins Siyatha Miss World Sri Lanka 2015

Thilini Amarasooriya is a 20 year old beauty who hails from the capital city of Colombo. She is a graduate of the National Insitute of Business Management and worked as a model prior to her participation at the nationals.

Sri Lanka, ranked 58th at the Big4 Pageant Ranking, registered 3 semifinalists and one 3rd runner-up finish since it first participated at Miss World in 1953. However, eversince Manohori Vanigasooriya made it to the semis in 1978 no Sri Lankan beauty has ever made the cut again.
