Three killed in bakery blast in Delhi
A blast at a bakery in East Delhi’s Khureji area on Thursday left three labourers dead and two injured.
Prima facie, the blast happened in the oven at around 5.30 a.m. while around 20 labourers were working at the bakery, said a senior police officer.
Five men who were working near the kitchen were left hurt. Fire fighters rushed to the spot and rescued the injured men.
They were rushed to a nearby hospital where three of them, all in their early 20s, succumbed to their injuries. Two others are battling for their lives.
Police have registered a case and are probing the cause of the blast.
