Veteran Congressman S M Krishna quits active politics and party

Former Karnataka Chief Minister S M Krishna on Saturday quit active politics, and reportedly sent a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi asking to be relieved him from the primary membership of the party.

Krishna is scheduled to officially announce his decision on Sunday.
